I live in Southwest England where it is very mild and sunny. We have a south facing garden which gets baked by the sun and a view of the coast in the distance.
I love roses and have several types in the garden. 'Gertrude Jekyll' is particularly fragrant but my favourite is 'Constance Spry' despite the fact she only flowers once. I came upon this site by chance and particularly liked Gardengnome's pictures of the lovely flowers in her garden - I cannot imagine gardening in such a dry climate with such stunning results.
