thank you all for the encouraging messages

yeah it was literally blood sweat and tears, there were times i cried and i thought id never get it done, i cut myself so many times when digging, how on earth i didnt do more serious damage i do not know but i did have stitches, i even broke my right ankle, but its all worth it, tho ankle hasnt healed as i went out and carried on pain or no pain, as they wouldnt plaster my foot as they said it was an awkward area to plaster.

But if i brag please forgive me, i have cancer for a third time and get to feel very ill and weak, and on top of that i have osteoperosis and osteo arthritis, so yeah i do brag but its just i am so proud that i do not dwindle on it and i havent given up on life as it way too precious.

Goodness Rosina, you are brave! I feel ashamed of myself now for feeling low this morning. All I've done is some weeding of the vicious bindweed! I do admire your spirit, keep going, and you're right, life is too precious and short and we do have to enjoy the time we have. Big hugs, Lindsey :-) xoxoxo

Gosh Craftnutter don't be ashamed, gardening can make a person feel down, i have cried buckets of tears in mine and that darn bindweed is a nuisance, just like columbine, there is never any end to the stuff.

I usually have a good cry then for unknown reason suddenly i get very angry and i march out to garden and i give the weeds hell, then i feel much better, ok its so tiring not for just me but i think we all get so very tired gardening as it takes all the strength out of us, but well i look at it as its a once maybe twice a year job and the rest we can enjoy our fruits of labour.
