Spend what you like! Yes............

Two days back at work, and my blood presure is sky high. I never row at work. Everything tends to wash over me. But I’ve had 2 rows in 2 days. Wont go into details, they always sound so petty when you explain them!
Anyway one of the delivery men came it, how are you! Oh dear, and I got my first cuddle!
Today Tony (The G.M.) comes in, puts his arm round me, and says ‘When are you going to sort my garden out!’
‘Plenty of money in the bugget so spent whatever you like!’
So now the gardens back on the agenda, and I need to plant up with the winter flowering plants (and I think my blood pressure’s down too)
Going to get some spring bulbs for the ‘break your neck bed’
Ornamental cabbages and pansy’s for the gezbo!
And see what’s about for the planters under the oak window. The xmas roses did well last year, but they still around so i’m looking for other idea’s-anyone?

Viburnums are a good bet. Skimmia too depending on the soil. There are some other small shrubs with red berries too.

Gardening and pottering about up to your elbows in mud is a great way to relax, sounds like just what you need!

Just look the up the idea's, alyssum sound good. they might work under the trees where its quite dry. The shrubs may be a bit big in planters. I think it must have been a Viburnum I saw at a local garden and it looked stunning. There is a hollow where an old tree stump use to be, that is crying out for a spalsh of spring colour,, so I will look for one.
Thank you Heron and Raquel.
