Lobelia

I have had this beautiful blooming fall flower for at least six years; planted in a very large pot. Well I was looking through the flowers on here and found it. I never knew what it was called till now. It is a Lobelia Cardinalis ‘Queen Victoria’
bright fushia and grows to 3 ft high. It is a conversation starter because everyone who comes up on the front porch wants to know what plant it is. I am so happy I found it here. Sorry no photos yet.
It will be blossoming soon though.

Twice I've tried to grow this but the snails demolish the flower stalks. I tried growing it in a pot but the slugs/snails still ate through the stalks making it look very sad. Given up now. Look forward to your photos!
