TIPS

Think most of us put 'tips' into blogs SW. funnily enough I did a blog telling all about the great use of spent tea bags!

Sorry Grandmage I haven't spotted that one.

I was told at the weekend that spent teabags were very good therapy for ailing ivy plants (do ivy plants EVER ail?) Quite strange advice to be hearing in a country where tea is not drunk very often, I thought, but it's encouraging.

I thought ivy was a plant that you wouldn't want to revive!!
Well maye the decorative ones, but not those that cover the walls & trees outside!!

We had a fence covered in ivy once & when we cleared the ivy (with difficulty I might add!) the fence almost fell down!!

We had exactly the same problem with a huge stone wall, and once the ivy was gone, OH had to rebuild the wall we found underneath!

Please dont be sorry, we all love reading different blogs on here, 'tips' and all. :)

It would be a good idea to have a tips section.

So do I - I can contribute one straight away about keeping cats, stray dogs, foxes, etc., out of flower beds and lawns. In fact I think I shall write a blog about it. Watch this space.......................:o)

I am waiting...the stray cats round here think my garden is their personal toilet :(
