Its high-powered and ultra-dependable 6.5hp Briggs & Stratton 850 Pro OHV engine drives a twin-chambered cutting-system with a chipper hammer pulverising branches and other fibrous material; and a series of hammer blades reducing softer green material. Branches up to 45mm in diameter are acceptable and the blades are reversible for longer service before sharpening. The Viking GB370S Petrol Chipper-Shredder has a specially designed self-feed mechanism that allows for a faster work-rate and ensures blockage-free operation with no backwards ejection of debris. It employs durable rust-resistant materials at every level of construction so a lengthy product-life is guaranteed; and it?s lightweight and ideally balanced for easy portability.
