I'm new to gardening, though I was raised by two obsessive gardeners (my mother and grandmother), and hopefully I've inherited their greenfingers! I have, perhaps naively, taken on a huge project - to totally redesign and re-landscape our new garden all by myself. The garden is quite large, but the previous owners made the bizarre desicion to get rid of anything green, lay plastic sheeting over the entire space, and dump tons of gravel and slate over the lot. I've set myself the task of turning this carpark-resembling void into a lovely green natural garden. Wish me luck!
