Shongweni Farmers Market and the Midlands Meander

There is something incredibly powerful in slowing down and just appreciating things. Full and busy are great too, but in recovering from a season of burn out, there’s a gift in just taking small things in and realizing how big they are.
Our lives are changing with the seasons, the pages of our story curled and tattered, preparing for new growth like the autumn leaves that swirl and dance on the breeze as we drive past. Outside our cars the air is crisp, perfumed with the smell of dry baked soil and vehicle fumes. KZN is dry, yet this province is so inviting, it offers warmth with it’s beautiful sunlight and rays of the morning sun that kiss your cheeks if you graciously allow her. Inside, the radio chatters and hums, transmitting words we don’t or may understand. Yesterday, was one of the days that I loved and appreciated. I spent my time with such awesome and beautiful ladies and made such beautiful memories, it was a day that I will always remember.
