We have an allotment that is fully operational now, and I do my best to keep up with the garden. This is my first year as a gardener and I am over enthusiastic and planting too much too close together - but I am learning fast.

Can anyone suggest some low growing autumn colour i.e.geraniums or similar - colour isn't that important and also whether to buy on-line or a GC our local one in Swindon doesn't have much a selection and I always come out with some other than the one I went in to buy!!
I'd appreciate any help anyone can other.
