I live on the SomersetLevels a very special place where man has created rivers and rhynes(ditches) over the centuries to deal with the natural floodplain that has always existed here.
Our garden is adjacent to the River Tone and on the opposite side is open agriculture land.It is relatively small and is clay based,although the wider area beyond is on a bed of peat.
we have little space for vegetables,but have shrubs and annual flowering plants mainly in the summer.I am not an expert in gardening terms,but I love naturalcolour and am always happy to learn from other more experienced gardeners
