I had never had a garden up until 3 years ago and now I'm well and truely hooked! So much so that I have also taken on a allotment too in which I'm growing potatoes, celeriac, peas, beetroot, red and green cabbage, cauliflower, purple sprouting and green broccoli, red onions, swede, french and runner beans, sweetcorn, khol rabi, butternut squash, marrow, courgettes and leeks...not bad for my first year hey? My garden also has a vegetable plot as I got mine late this year but I will be fazing that out to make room for my chickens next year. I theme my gardens, one the front I have a neutral-sh pallet of whites, blues and very pale pinks whilst my back garden is dedicated to hot colours, fushia pink, orange, yellow and all the reds I can throw at it...basically if I like the colour and the plant, I WILL find it a home, lol!
