blue tits sparrows and house martins

i just had a look in my bird box which has a hinged lid and i see it is full of bluetit chicks i will try and get a pic of them and post it also my other box is being used by a sparrow it also has chicks how a sparrow gets in that small hole i will never know she better not fatten her chicks to much or they wont get out and has any one seen a sparrow take over a house martin nest i have one under the eaves on the gable of my house and when the house martens finnished building the nest the sparrow moved in shame after the house martin coming all that way and going to all the trouble to build a nest only to be outdone by a squatter i feel like going up a ladder and evicting them

it could be its a second brood just like the robin it had one chick first time must have been trial run have you checked your box to see if there is more

I haven't seen any around lately speedy , and i've taken the camera out now.I will be cleaning the box out soon.

Hiya speedy,your bluetit babies are late aren't they? mine left home on may 29th, I did a blog on them, have a look, i was really peeved after watching all the different stages. still that's life, there's always next year.i hope you manage to see yours when they go.
