yesterday july 13 was the high light of my year i was invited to the queens garden party at holyrood house edinburgh . It all started a couple of months ago when a letter droped through my letterbox with the buckingham palace post mark on it and i though who do i know there that wants to send me mail on opening it it was an invite to the garden party . Being me a working class man i would be like a fish out of water at a do like that however i decided to go the 131 mls to the event,. How was much as you could eat rong i was most people there were the same as myself except for a few who spoke as if they had a hot potato in there mouth i had a lovely day wandering around with the rest 8000 yes 8000 cups of tea and cakes as much as you could eat if you wanted then icecream was served to those who wanted .The queen came out and walked round for an hr and spoke to people and by chance we were standing behind a lady in a wheelchair and she came and spoke to her so she was just about 10 yrds from where we stood and we had a great view of her i always thought she was taller than she is so that was my day at the queens garden party what a great day Sorry dont have pics of it to add no cameras or mob ph allowed

Yes Heron HM has done a great job. But it ends for me after that I have no respect for the next one.

thanks everyone andrea and heron i work at the community garden in my own time which is used by disabled people and my name was put forward as a thank you from them
