Bank holiday Sunday

Had quite a nice day today working at the garden centre, lots of people around although not as many as some bank holidays i can remember, but the weather is fabulous, managed to burn my forehead and cheeks today.
Came home and cut the lawn while the wife prepared dinner for us both.
After dinner we sat in the garden and talked about my daughters wedding plans, she is planning her wedding well in advance, 3 years to be precise.
Anyhow, the garden is looking lovely today, the perennials are getting bigger and fatter by the day and we cant wait until they burst into colour.
With a bit of luck i will even be able to get into my cabin this week, i am making writing pens from assorted woods, olive, walnut , oak, cherry and several other types of wood.
If anyone reads this blog, you can view the garden , cabin and my other hand made pens here:

I've had a look at your site too, Steve. Lovely. I always like to see a site in progress so there's always something new to see on the next visit.
Loving your cabin...I want one, lol and your pens are beautiful.

Thank you for your kind words Avis, we enjoyed talking about the wedding, more talking still to do yet.
I love making the pens, every one is unique even if they come from the same branch they are still different, the only thing that changes is the quality of the pen kit.
