so endeth our week off

well, the last night has finally arrived but we have had a great week off. Managed to get the cabin sorted out, dead headed front and back gardens, cut both lawns, weeded, cleaned up, pruned a few bits down and went to the tip several times with the rubbish, but most of all we were together and sat on the patio with drinks most days in the glorious sunshine and also took our time and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Finished off the day today going to a friends and learned how to turn a goblet, so i made this one from Yew wood today.

back to work tommorow, looking forward to it actually.

lovely goblet. i must take photos of my hubby's stuff to show you .
he has also done this sort of thing. i am waiting for my cake plates still. he is off doing ear ring stands for the daughters.
