hello
thought i would just share with you the Garden centre i work for as plant area manager.
Built in the valleys and surrounded by fields the only sound you hear is cows mooing instead of noisy traffic.
i class myself as very fortunate to be doing one of my hobbies as my job, i simply love it.
thank you..

All your plants look so fresh and healthy, and a good variety as well. Are they all grown at the garden centre, or do you buy them in?

You are so lucky to work in a garden center, I would love to do that. But I have a nice garden which compensates.

You are doing what I dreamed of when I was at school but I was prevented from doing it due to circumstances of my childhood. Now I am retired so never going to be a Charlie Dimmock but I still gain so much pleasure from my small plot. Sue

thank you all again for your lovely comments, i also take home lots of my work.
All of the plants are bought in from various palces around the uk and just a few from holland, (i am not a fan of dutch stuff) but i spend lots of time online (at home) searching to bring my customers something different.
I liquid feed all the plants once a week to keep them in top condition, dont want them looking sad.
Mookins, Robin Hood land = Nottinghamshire of course8-)

How nice to be so happy in your job! It must be a joy to be among all those lovely plants and garden accessories. What a good idea having Garden Centres was. Do you know which was the first to open, by chance?
