where my pond is going used to be two raised flower beds made from railway sleepers one large measuring 4metres by 4 and the other is smaller 250cm by 250. hopefully i will have a waterfall so the large one will flow into the smaller one.
the dog you see in the photo is a minature dachshund gracie and i have her daughter bronie and a welsh sheepdog dewi.

Sounds nice Sue but you'd be better to let the smaller on spill into the larger one if possible. The reason is that when the pump is switched off the smaller one will spill over because the surface area is more in the big one.
