thanx sue, will think about it, baz doesnt want a tree in lawn just incase roots come up through lawn in time ;o(

Why does he think the roots will come through the lawn ? lol... Roots go down don't they ? A tree always looks nice in an open space.

i agree hywel, think its because next door had a tree which its roots came quite high to surface in our lawn, maybe because its heavy clay and water settles close to top
