Long Time No Blog!

Good Grief !! Is it really six months since I last visited GOY… Unfortunately blogging along with gardening has been a non-event for the best part of the last year. Been a bit poorly…well very poorly, but back to full strength now …that winter has arrived :( alas all is not lost still plenty of weeding to do when the frost is off the ground.
I did grow a few tomatoes and beans this past summer but because things got left to their own devices it was not a pretty sight. I felt so ashamed of my garden when I had visitors but nothing I could do about it.
So what have you all been up to? I have lots of catching up to do.
This past weekend we got out into the garden and started a big clean up it felt so good to be outside and able to move around bend down and get up without having to grab hold of something to pull myself up with.
Early summer 2013.
It’s good to be back I have so much I want to do next year. I plan on growing more veg and I am going to really enjoy the garden this coming year.
Keep warn and enjoy your garden!

Welcome back from me too. Lots of us have had to take time out for various reasons this year. I have given up on trying to catch up. I hope you can grow more veg. I've given up on that too. I did not even grow potatoes this year.

Thank you for the warm welcome back. So good to get my brain and body back into the garden. Hopefully I can gat out and clear some more weeds. If it's wet the greenhouse is getting a tidy up then some planning. I am going to draw up some plans of what is going where.

Hi Speitz, Fighting fit and rearing to go. It's been a long hard year 1 major operation and another one to repair the damage done by the first. And a long recovery period but A1 and tip top now. Good to be back to normal whatever normal is for me! ;-)

Hi Sue ... good to have you back on GoY ... sorry to hear of your ops. and subsequent recovery time ... we shall be growing some veg. in amongst the flowers this Spring as we have given up the allotment now ... far too much maintenance as have our own and my Mums garden! Just ask for GC vouchers from Santa ... then you'll be able to spoil yourself on seeds and plants later on ... :o)

Good to hear you are emerging after what sound a horribly uncomfortable year. A greenhouse is such a blessing - hope you can find room for a little chair in there! I really miss mine but it is too windy here and there would be sure to be a tree branch falling on it sooner or later.
Your garden looks so neat and tidy in the photo - hope you soon have it just as you want again.
