Back from Florida,and ready to start digging....

Oh ,what glorious weather today.The temps are in the high 50’s and I have spring fever.All I got done today was picking up fallen limbs from all the storms we had while we were in Florida.I can’t believe what a mess the yard is in.My next project is cleaning out the beds and spreading mulch.I’m sure you are all getting ready to do that….I am so anxious to see what plants have reseeded.I am also working on my Zen garden,have been for 4 years now.It’s a work in progress.I can’t afford to do all I want,but it’s fun planning it.I want to put in pea gravel,more mulch,an oriental bench and a nice big pot with a red japanese maple tree….I’ll keep you all posted as to how it’s coming along.all the big trees and shrubs already established,thats the good thing.I entered the spring contest at Yardshare.com an posted a pic of my Zen garden.If you find my photo worthy of your vote,I would so appreciate it.The prize is a $1,000.00 gift certificate to a gardening store.I could finally finish the Zen garden.
