Hywel.Thanks for your welcome. Seen lots of pretty pink cottages on Escape to the Country - I wld love to live nearer Devon/Cornwall (apparently Somerset is the border and much cheaper - so one day.....) But Herts is lovely toooo. Letchworth Gdn City (first Garden City) is where I live and it is peaceful with lovely people.

You're welcome :o) Actually I don't live in the pink cottage. I once lived in a 200 yr old one for 20 yrs, but not the pink one lol. I hope you find a lovely cottage one day.
