The Fruits of our Labours

Hello all

I took some photo’s at 8 am this morning so i thought i might as well share some of them with you.

To bring you up to date, we have nearly finished phase 1 of our garden plan …….

Remember this …

Well here we are 3 years down the road ……

Nowhere near finished yet.

As you can probably tell from the photo’s i am still trying to get the path finished and the slabbing around the pond top.

But in the main the bulk of the groundwork has been done.

Now we just have to wait for things to grow up the pergola …..

Clematis Montana at the front …

Wisteria in the center ….

and another climber whose name escapes me for the moment on either side at the end…

Once the path has been finished then i think i will take a well earned rest for a year and enjoy the fruits of my labour.

Now we just need to sort out for next year what we are going to plant for keeps in the center raised bed ….. any ideas…?

It's certainly come on in leaps and bounds! Will the raised bed be used purely for flowering plants, or maybe some veg???

Paul - We already have a dedicated veg plot at the rear of the garden so it will be flowers and shrubs.

an amazing transformation, must have been a lot of hard work, love the acers. That raised bed will look great when it's all planted up.
