My results turned up in the post yesterday from The University of Portsmouth, School of Biological Sciences, Portsmouth.
Foundation Degree of Science in Garden Design (Sparsholt College Hampshire) DISTINCTION
I was over the moon as I wasn’t sure if I had done enough overall to receive a distinction as opposed to a pass or a merit. So it was a very nice surprise.
This has taken me 3 years part time, and lots of homework and research.
Only another two years to complete the Bsc (Hons).
I enjoy doing the course as it keeps you up to date with everything in the horticultural world and especially on the design side.
Not for everyone I know but I am lucky enough to work for a family, tending their garden and they are happy for me to take one day off a week for furthering my educational and learning aspirations.
Now on the fun side of life, here is my little helper in his new mode of transport.
