Have a house in Dorset and in South West France and am trying to garden in both places. Dorset garden is almost a blank canvas as just moved in. Am hoping to make a cottage garden with a riot of colour. French garden well established but requires drought hardy plants that can be left to look after themselves for 6-8 weeks at a time.
