I am retired, widower, and have two children and two grandchildren with another one on the way. I live in Carmarthenshire, and have a very,very small garden, and also a greenhouse. I love spending time in the garden and greenhouse. I grow vegetables and have flowers in pots and containers.
This is the first year I have grown anything in the garden, as I only moved in last November. I grew runner beans, cabbages, leeks, onions and peas,and they all cropped well. I grew a variety of tomatoes plants, one cucumber plant and my first pepper plant,in the greenhouse again I was happy with the results. I won't grow so many tomato plants next year. I'll plan things better next year.
I also do charity work,which I enjoy and find rewarding.
