well i’m very disappointed about all the thunder storms and rain and hot weather we have had over the past 4 odd weeks as my tomatos got a good hammering i must say i got one of the large tomatos put it on the scales it came in at a wopping 1lb 8oz and 1lb 4oz for the other sad to say could not eat them as the rain damaged them i did save some so just waiting for them to change colour.
it is sad as i grow from my own seeds they have more meat than seedsin them.

Are you sure they're not Melons?

Welcome from an Aussie ... seems like you've been having the same weather as those of us here in the north-east. It's been miserable ... and hard on the garden. Shame about those tomatoes of yours ... although they do sound more like melons as Heron says!! Well done on your efforts in spite of the weather damage.

What have you been feeding them on ? !!!!

A great way to feed tomato plants is to cut off the lowest branches and place them in a bucket then add water.
After 24 hours the mixture provides a nutrient for the plant.
The plant will go through an amazing growth spurt. After using the liquid place the cuttings on your compost heap.
