I live in the North East of England with my husband and three children.
We have lived in our current home for at least 8 years. We have a detached house with not much land. In fact we tried to sell our home two years ago and the feedback was always the same - "nice home - shame about the garden".
I have therefore decided to tackle the garden but unfortunately I am a total beginner with no experience
whatsoever. I'm frightened that I waste money on the wrong types of plants!!!
Any advice is appreciated!!!!!!
We live in a really windy area - hanging baskets become
wind swept.

I want a low maintenance garden, with colour to hide the horrible fencing.
