Vickig's Profile

I live in San Francisco in the West Portal area. A lovely place to live but we contend with fog all summer which is hard for gardening. I've learned if I can get new plants in with a few days sun I'm OK, if the fog hits the plants will usually not do well and in fact mold. I've started putting large colorful pots in by back yard and planting in those as the ground stays warmer. Would love to hear from other SF gardeners.
