Originally from South Africa my love for the outdoors almost comes naturally. My fondest memories is of an ancient English Oak (Quercus robur) which grew outside my house. Apparently planted by my great great grandparents. This is where my love for the English Countryside started. Later I obtained a degree in landscape design but find that my prefered gardens are the ones that are left to thier own natural devices. Straight lines and clipped perfection has never really appealed to me. I have no children as yet but plan to name them all after my favourite flowers :) Lily, Angelica & for a boy Conner ( after Sean Connery - like an ancient oak he grows better with age!)
