Hello everyone. Tracey here, from South Essex, UK. Allegedly one of the driest and sunniest parts of the UK. Not this year. Weathergirl because, strangely enough, Tracey was already taken. And because the weather is a secondary passion to my first love; gardening.
My 'patch' is tiny; mid terrace long and skinny, set to beds, no grass whatsoever. Flowers, but mainly architectural 'exotics' (bamboo, palm, phormium etc) dotted about with natives, too many trees for a small garden and a tiny excuse for a greenhouse and veggie patch. An even smaller wildlife pond that is actually more like a puddle. But it's mine, and I love it.
Thank-you for the welcomes, have taken a deep breath and plunged right in. The site, and members pages, seem to be a mine of information and very welcoming. I will use you all shamelessly from time to time, no doubt!
