Hi all, thought id shown you what we have been working on more woodwork, digging and the problems we have had in making this side more nice to look at.The general idea is still free wooden features out of old pallets

and now the fun part ( I consider myself to be a true gardener now ) i was playing around in the mud, rain and stain coloured clothes and these are some of the pics of the things you do not see in a pretty garden !

The soil heap with lovely bricks and rubble which has to all be sieved to go into the new boxes we have made and a pile of off cuts which we are taking nails out of and trying to find uses for all the off cuts hope you all like the not so nice pics lol

You've got a job to sieve your soil but it will look much nicer when you can see it all planted up....you will really appreciate your hard work and the craftmanship of your b/friend in making all your planters. Looking good!

Your pics are ok, its good to see work in progress and you and your boyfriend are making a really good job of both your gardens with all the planters and fencing.. I`m looking forward to seeing them planted up as I bet you are. Well done both of you.....

That's brill! While you're sieving your soil, don't throw any stones away, use them for drainage in the bottom of your planters! You probably are anyway...you're not daft! It looks lovely W! Beautifully constructed, too! It'll not be too long until the planters are really to plant up! The fun bit!!

Its great to see how a project all comes together even the messy bits. The fire bed sounds great and the honeysuckle makes for great screening with perfume.
Look forward to seeing the planting when its in place.
Happy plant hunting.

We are getting along with our new garden...little by little. The plants I have in the borders and pots are blooming and filling out well. I'm now collecting wood, stones and eventually shade loving plants for my next project. It is a lot of fun to plan and collect a bit at a time and create a new patch of garden interest.

Happy plant buying when your turn come, Whdebor :)
