Can't wait to see your blog GT. Checked out the website...I think your photos are better :) Nice to see the process on the website though. Thanks for weathering the freezing cold, they're really beautiful. Hope you've thawed out by now ;~)

Thank you TG. I appreciate that. :-) All thawed. I caught them all right on time. This morning five more inches of snow and still warm enough to keep melting. Usually the show ends before I even went because of thaw. Not so far. I'm afraid of Mt Redoubt bringing a cold summer. It did in 89. I suppose I'm out of the danger zone anyway.

Seen some of these amazing sculptures in a newspaper, Greenthumb. What happens if a bit breaks off when they are making them, is there a repair kit, or are no failures allowed?

There were sites that just had some broken ice under the snow, so I believe if you break your block, your out. Small fixes can be made, but you wont get a new block to work on. Mulitblock sculpture are stacked and fused and then carved, so I believe the same rules would apply. It is a championship.
