My trip to Harrogate Spring Flower Show

As most of you know, I paid a visit to the Harrogate Spring Flower Show on Sunday. It was a very long trip for me as I live in Wiltshire, but I decided to go on a coach trip which took us to York on the Saturday and Harrogate on Sunday. Exhausting, but thoroughly enjoyed it, especially as I was able to meet Seaburngirl as well. We enjoyed a coffee and chat together, and texts were flying around the rest of the day between us, asking what we were doing and what we had bought. I also had the pleasure of meeting ’our Vicki, of Plantagogo, Heuchera specialist. We had quite a long chat and she wished to be remembered to everyone. I know Bloomer has already put some photos on, so I will try not to repeat what she has done, but here are a few that I took.

you got some wonderful shots there cinders. Wasnt dibleys to drool over? I found the lily scent overwhelming. I resisted the streps though. OH says I must have been talking as my mouth is open. I do believe I was too lol.
It was wonderful meeting up with you and Vicky.
I also met people who have spoken to our HPS group too.

Hi Sbg. Yes Dibleys was lovely, but I resisted buying new ones, just replaced ones I've lost and loved (theres a song there somewhere!). You probably were talking, but its a good photo. I enjoyed our meeting too.
Thanks Helenium, glad you enjoyed looking at the photos.
Thanks Sixpence, that Orchid was fabulous. I have some more pictures, I'll put some more on tomorrow.

The time and effort folk put into those displays must be enormous ... they are just brilliant! Well done for making the journey by coach ... and I bet you enjoyed your chat with Vicky too! : o )

Thanks Shirley, I did enjoy chatting to Vicky. Have you met her ? Such a lovely person, so friendly. Don't know if I would do such a long journey again, it was too quick a turnround. But it was great show. I agree about the effort for those displays, it must be a bit of a headache.

No, I haven't met Vicky, just seen her on here and TV! Perhaps, if you go to another show, you'll stay for a few more days then you could have a rest day at some point! : o ))
