Thanks - I like the combination, but I'd hate to smother my pretty geranium! :-(

Sorry I had, what Hywel calls, a "senior moment"! Possibly because she posted before me & I mistook it for yours.
My comment about it being a very nice Geranium still stands though! :-))

That's OK, Balcony. I sent Dd hers anyway! :-))

If I upload a few photos of Geraniums, do you think you might be able to id them? It's not important as they are not growing on my balcony but in a garden I visited last week. I'll upload the 3 photos as questions. Thanks. :-))

I'll have a go...no promises, though!

I took a couple more photos yesterday but I think only one may of the photos I uploaded to questions. The other had finished flowering in the week since I first saw them.
Thanks for looking! :-))

I went to your photos, but couldn't see any Geraniums???
22 Jun, 2012
Sorry, but I uploaded them as a question!
Have a look here: http://www.growsonyou.com/question/show/85459
Thanks for looking anyway. :-))

I had a go, Balcony. Sorry about the pink one. It looks like a named variety, too - not the invasive pink ones I suffer from! :-((

Thanks for looking at them, Spritz. As I said earlier, it's only out of curiosity that I asked.
You really surprised me saying they will probably come true from seed! If I visit the garden again I will look to see if there are any seeds.
Should they be cut down after flowering to get a 2nd flush later?

Some will do that. The pratense group and 'Johnson's Blue' - all those do. The sanguineums just keep on producing flowers, and other groups do too. G x magnificum only flowers once. It looks better cut back, as new fresh leaves grow. Then there's lovely 'Rozanne' that flowers from June to the late autumn. Beat that!!!
