Adrianfinland's Profile

We live in the countryside in South West Finland and have a garden containing established fruit bushes (gooseberry, red current, white current), 2 apple trees, 1 cherry tree and 2 plumb trees. Also established and happliy growing every year rhubarb and strawberries.

Every spring (it arrives later in Finland) we do battle and grow vegetables. Here the growing season is short but intense due to the long daylight hours in summer.

Gardening here is a team effort and each year a new 'experiment' in matching my English language gardening books and the Finnish weather.
