How do you build a Snowman with no Snow?

Well, if you have a sandy beach and a little patience and determination you will be able to succeed.
We went to a planned event today organised by the ‘Winter Walks on the Wight’ group. This was mainly for the kids, but I really enjoyed it.
I tried to build ‘The Little Mermaid’ but the body kept falling over as I tried to build it up so with little more than half an hour left, my daughter was happy to settle for an Elephant, Indian of course as the ears are smaller!
Considering the weather was supposed to be tragic it turned out really well.

Was it a competition - I think you are saying it was - so what was the 'sand-snow-man' that won like, Andrea?

The event was called Sandmen Snowmen, so that is how to build a snowman without snow! It wasn't a competition, just a bit of fun.
