If all is quiet from my point of view for the next 10 days it will be because we are on a trip to Hastings, E Sussex visiting family and friends. I expect to have computer access so I might show up on GOY. I’ll take my new camera, Maybe I’ll upload some pics of my sister’s garden, or other horticultural places. Hope everyone in UK has ordered some good weather for next week since we hope that garden visiting and some bird watching will be on the list of our activities.
Maybe I’ll bump into some of you, who knows!!! Now wouldn’t that be exciting!!!!

At least once per year Irish, sometimes more often if we have a conference or meetings in UK. Our last time was last Christmas when we actually came over to celebrate our Ruby wedding, so it's close to the year.

Oh forgot to mention, saw an article on T.V. saying that due to the wet summer, we are expected to have a very colourful autumn with the trees showing their autumn colours at their best in the next two weeks. Hope they are right, something good has to come of the wet summer

Thanks for the tip Andrew. Where is it?

It's in East Sussex between East Grinstead and Lewes. It's a National Trust property so you can find it on their website for more information - www.national.trust.org.uk.
There's also Wakehurst Place near Ardingly in West Sussex which is leased to Kew and has extensive grounds as well as holding the Millenium Seedbank

How exciting! It should be half-term week for most areas, but I expect you know that already. I am not sure whether it's your imminent arrival that has caused the weather forecasters to warn us that the temperatures are going to fall next week. If they do, we know who to blame, don't we? LOL. Have a good trip!
