Take a turn around our garden.....

Just a few photos of this and that really…..before all the summer plants show their faces.
The roses are on their way with Gertrude Jekyll and Lady Hillingdon leading the way.
Next step along is the Hosta bed before the slugs and snails get to them!
Then come the Alliums, Hardy Geraniums, Clematis, Lamium, Philadelphus…..
THe Clerodendrum is looking better now (thought the winter would kill this beautiful plant)
The golden hop is winding its way around the obelisk, the rubus is brightening a dull corner.
The Melianthus is leafing up well
Last but not least a few decorative bits and bobs…..
Will post more pics later on in the season, thanks for your patience, and hope you enjoyed the tour.
Spritz one for you…..what is this plant please, it is nearly 5ft and has a slight perfume, if you need any more details will take more pictures……

So very pretty, well done all your hardwork shows. I need to get on with my planters but keep hoping for a calmer day when the flowers won't get their heads torn off.Sunday was so hot and I really thought summer was here at last and then only a day later the heavens opened again. Oh! well, another hole in the ground as hubby says. Sue x

Your garden is just lovely, Dd...I can't see all those pink geraniums we've been chatting about, though! Where are you hiding them? (Not that they CAN be hidden, lol)
Yes, I do think that's Hesperis. Mine has grown and grown and looks like yours and Jacque's.
Thanks for the tour. Nice to see a fellow close-planter!
