Made this today, can thoroughly recommend this dessert/cake, my husband said it was one of the nicest puds he had ever tasted………as we were missing the cream, we had custard instead.

So get yourselves in the kitchen folks!!!!!!! it is sooo quick and simple to make, thanks again to Simbad.

I've taken it out of the oven , it looks delicious , I was hoping to keep it for tomorrow for some friends that are calling , i'm not so sure that there will be any left by then .. LOL....... I will try a piece soon !!

Clarice if it makes it to the freezer, well done, mine will be lucky to make two days!!Amy I am sure you will like it, will try adding nuts to the mincemeat or grated apple next time...it is that type of recipe.
Simbad I think it would be lovely with brandy sauce!!!
