(7) Bargain time

I’ve got a few days off next week so hopefully I’ll find the time to catch up on all my favourite members and post a blog on my gardens progress over the last year.
This week was bargain time….. I like my grasses but usually find them to be too expensive so imagine my delight when I popped into Homebase on Tuesday to buy some sand but came out with 5 ornamental grasses, all in 5 litre pots (all priced at £10), for a grand total of £5

A couple were miscanthus sinensis - zebra grass, can't remember the others off hand.
I popped in again today and picked up a Ceaonothus for £2, a Fatsia for £1.50 and 3 Lonicera nitida lemon beauty, at a £1 each
