Garden Photography

I was playing golf today on a beautiful course and it reminded me of the fact that, despite playing many cracking courses, I’ve yet to take one decent picture of a golf course. Not sure why. I’ve taken many pictures of them, but they’re never as lush and green as I remember. Same in the garden, the colours never seem to jump out. Perhaps I need to practice the photography more. And the golf.

Do you use a photo manager type programme? You can try to improve your photo's and enhance colour so that it is closer to the real thing.

A pity golf isn't in the Olympics ~
Britain has courses which would be ideal for 2012.
You seem good at multi-tasking ~
photography and golf at the same time.
Excellent thinking Jiminyork ~
Maybe both will improve simultaneously. ;- )

"Way back when" before digital, most pro's used polarizing filters to show good color in sunlight, I don't know for sure but I would bet that something similar is available for digital or maybe built in to some models.

Just out of interest, how do they manage to cut the grass on golf courses when mine (and other people's) is far too wet to mow?

Jim, get a camera that fits in your pocket, then if you see something interesting you can take a picture of it.
