The greenhouse is ready!!

Im so excited! Paul finished the greenhouse yesterday so I sowed my first Tomatoes in a seed tray and next weekend will start cucumbers and thought Id have a go at some melons.
Thats another major project out the way and another which I completed last weekend was planting a laurel hedge right at the back of our veg plot.
I’ve been busy sowing yet more seeds and planted 3 tree peonies which I bought from QVC (they are scented varieties). Tidying up my flower borders on each side of a path that leads to my potting shed has been another tedious job out of the way. I call these my hot borders as I grow Rudbeckias, mine are a perennial variety so they come back each year, this is their 3rd year. I chuck blue corn flower seed between them so the blue adds a nice cool tinge to the heat :-) I love Rudbeckias, they are hard working performers with little work and flower their heads off right into autumn.
My flower expertise is as big as a postage stamp, if it wasnt for the free seeds I get from my gardening mag, I wouldnt know anything about them or know where to start for what to grow in borders.
I am gradually learning what I like and dont like, so the learning continues :-)

Impressive Greenhouse. Yes, the free seeds are great. i'v got hundreds of packets I got, mainly from amateur gardening. Some not even opened, but I've had many free plants from others.,

Thanks everyone, will keep you posted on toms, cues and whatever else I grow in there. The wood framework was for ground levelling as it was so uneven.

that will keep you busy but it will be full in no time. I have just bought some rudbekia to go in my front border as well as echinacea tiki torch a lovely orange one. it is my only 'hot bit'. i like the idea of the cornflowers, will give that a go too.

That's a lovely big greenhouse Norfolk. You're going to have fun with that.
How is it you lot in England get free seeds with your gardening mags and all I ever get is renewal reminders??? I think we are getting the short end of the stick over here!!!! LOL.
