Age 67 in Sept 2014. Gardening since I was 12. At this location since 1979 - originally ten acres, now five. My favourite flower: Dahlia. Have done some breeding of Dahlias, but a lot of space and effort is needed. Season is short: last frost date is around June 10. Location: SE Newfoundland, Canada. I prefer to grow from seed vs cuttings. Outdoor pests: hares and moose.
