Old Lawnmower Handle (Recycling)

At this time of year, this fern, after high winds and heavy rain would normally have been flattened and lying on the lawn.
Thanks however, to making use of an old lawnmower handle, it still stands proud! The two arms of the mower handle are pushed about 18" into the soil.

Thanks Holly, I found the handle much stronger than the metal supports you can buy at GC's.

Glad you like the fern, Olive. It should really have been planted at the back of the border. It was kindly donated to the garden by on of our feathered friends.
Snoopdog, believe me, I've got a lot of old bits .......lol. They're stored in the garage, for future projects!
