Tomatoes

Hello Everybody
How’s your gardening going?
I was just wondered if anyone has ever accidently broken the top or a branch off your tomatoes? I did while trying to plant seedling in an hanging pepper planter. I thought I’d go for the pepper planter as opposed to the tomatoes one as it has more holes. So as I was ticked off about breaking my seeding I tried to rescue it and put it in the top of the planter in the soil. Well guess what? It’s growing! It’s as if it had roots to begin with. No shock, no drooping, it just started growing.
I just wondered if anyone one else has every tried that and if anyone had success with that?

Yes, I've done that too! I even rooted one of the side shoots I missed when it got too big...well, I didn't see it at the back!
