Grandmage, The sun drops quite quickly when at that stage. 15 mins. or so and it's gone. I liked the yachts too it gave the sunset stages. The sunsets here are one of the few things I love about LA, the sun and the beach are two more.

Frybo, It was during the week so most people were at work and it's strange here that after Labor Day ( I think it's Labor Day, or is it Memorial Day, I'm not American so I can never get those holidays into my head. Which comes first, one starts the summer one ends the summer. Oh well! ) Anyway it's the holiday that ends the summer so most don't go to the beach after that. I'm a die hard I'll go anytime the weather is hot enough and I have the time.

Lovely sunsets! We used to go down to the beach in Sri Lanka their 'Sunset Crew' many years ago! Hand holding amongst sweethearts on the beach was all that could be achieved with with Nanna or Auntie close by!

Ah don't be envious Cristina there are pros & cons in everything, place and person. I long for Ireland again, so the grass always seem greener elsewhere.

I have just found your page and will start to look through some of your blogs. This one is amazing.

Stevie, Was that a movie u were asking about? I'm not sure but many clips of movies and Tv shows are made around the beache areas. I often see film crews. Of course the famous Bay Watch was made on this beach.
