The last six years - part 3

Three years ago we put in a decking in the shady corner. The corner is at a height in the sloping garden, and we get the best view of the garden from there.
Does anyone know what the tree with the white flowers is? That was the only tree in the garden when we moved in, and I still don’t know its name.
Meanwhile I wanted the patio attached to the house extended a little. This would mean digging up quite a bit of soil, throw it back on to the lawn to level it just a bit and build a supporting wall. This would give me the opportunity to have a small border in full sun along the supporting wall. On TV this job takes two days. We took….hmm…well…..two years. Anyway, it is now complete and I have just started planting it.

I don't know what the white tree is, but it's very pretty. Your decking area looks a lovely place to sit and admire the view.
It doesn't matter that it took a bit longer than on TV to do the patio, I'm sure it will have given you a lot of satisfaction to have achieved what you set out to do, and I hope we see some photos of how you've planted it up:)
