Yes I should know better about daring slugs Fluff, I hate using slug pellets though since a blackbird has been following me about the garden recently pulling up worms as I dig, must have been a Robin in it's past life.

You have been busy - couldnt agree more that you shouldnt ever dare slugs. You never know when they are listening. I think their most annoying habit is crawling up the windows onto the ivy then across to the trees to drop inside my careful copper rings. Ugh.

Thanks again all, and Sussexsarah poor you, you must be constantly washing windows. I've noticing a lot of grass grazing slugs, I have loads at night munching grass, how many more folks have this problem?
