Beehappy, I have seen 4 or 5 ladybirds recently, plenty of bees buzzing around (will be hundreds more when the cherry tree blossoms) and I have seen a couple of yellow butterflies.

The lovely weather has woken everything up.

We get ladybirds hibernating in our block of flats, and when they awoke, I put them outside. I always get a discharge on my hands, but don't mind too much, I get used to the smell after years of attempted repelling.

Did you know that orange smelly repellent discharge is their blood?

Saw a big fat bumble bee this morning and there was a butterfly on the heather but wasn't quick enough to see what sort, it was dark in colour though
