Beerslinger's Profile

A beginner gardener. My grandfather was the main gardener for the school in my hometown, and then started a full farm to feed the fishing fleet back in the 70's. I've finally caught the gardening bug, and have begun slowly but surely turning my yard into a lovely garden. There's nothing quite the same as eating fresh produce out of your yard, and admiring your flowers as they smile at the sun.

I recently started sharing this split level house, owned by my parents, with my sister who has lived in the upper level for years. She unfortunately could not care less about gardening and landscaping. This has led to the yard being quite out of shape.

We've talked and I've been given the go ahead to make any changes to the yard I would like, so we shall see where this leads us.
